From the research activities of the TPG group, two capital companies (namely university Spin Off) were born
H2BOAT
The company provides energy high-tech solutions. As first project related to the nautical sector, H2Boat provides an innovative system that uses hydrogen technology to make the leisure boats, in particular sailing boats, completely autonomous from the energy consumption point of view. The system is designed according to concepts of sustainability and eco-comfort, respecting the environment but still retaining all the benefits due to the high amount of available energy.
SIT TECHNOLOGIES
SIT technologies Srl has a twofold objective: to apply academic expertise for increasing efficiency and flexibility of large energy plants, such as combined cycles, including hybridisation, and to develop energy harvesting technologies in specific environments, such as direct and reverse energy cycles. The core technology is related to innovative solutions based on TESLA turbines.
